FUTURES MATTER HELPING PARENTS SEE CHILDREN

CHANGING LIVES ONE CHILD AT A TIME

Supervised Contact

We work across across the whole North East region with families going through the Family Courts having difficulties seeing their children. Whatever challenges you are facing, our service is designed to support safe, child-focused contact.

We work locally within communities, with the principle that contact should take place as close to the child’s home as possible. We aim to ensure that contact is a safe, positive experience, and as natural as possible. Where appropriate, we also manage communication between parents to reduce conflict and allow contact to focus solely on the child’s needs and well-being.

We deliver our Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme (D.A.P.P), Empowering Change. This programme supports individuals to recognise and take responsibility for abusive behaviours, develop emotional regulation and communication skills, and build healthier relationships. The programme’s aim is to reduce harm and support sustained, long-term change for participants and their families.

Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Program or Dapp

Our D.A.P.P program Empowering Change, offers a comprehensive, CPD-approved course designed for individuals who have been involved in domestic abuse allegations, whether they are currently in legal proceedings or have already completed them. Unlike other programs with long waiting lists, we pride ourselves on offering immediate access to services.

The program is available both in-person and virtually, providing national coverage to ensure flexible delivery. Participants are supported in understanding their behavior, taking responsibility, and working towards positive and lasting change in their lives and relationships.

Our courses are open to people either in proceedings or who have just completed proceedings.
