Additional Family Time capacity — when your team can't absorb it.

Futures Matter CIC supervises Family Time for local authorities across the North East and Yorkshire — extra capacity when referrals outstrip what your team can take on, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays where needed.

The pressure

When your team can't absorb it.

Family Time demand doesn't always match internal staffing. A team may have regular sessions it can't take on, a new placement may create an immediate requirement, or a family may need contact away from the usual locality.

Sometimes the time needed falls in an evening, weekend or bank holiday too. Futures Matter provides additional external capacity so your team can refer the Family Time it can't readily cover itself — as regular ongoing provision, or as extra support when demand outstrips what's available in-house.

Why Futures Matter

How it works

Three steps to extra capacity.

1

Refer, or talk to us

Tell us the requirement — frequency, location, risks and any particular arrangements.

2

We match capacity

We identify suitable capacity and allocate an experienced supervisor, agreeing arrangements with your team.

3

Family Time is delivered

Sessions run as agreed, with clear, objective, safeguarding-focused recording back promptly afterwards.

Out-of-hours cover

Evenings, weekends and bank holidays, where required.

These are often the hardest sessions for an internal service to resource. Futures Matter can provide out-of-hours Family Time as part of an ongoing arrangement, or as additional capacity where suitable staff are available.

It's an added flexibility within the wider service — not the only reason to refer to us — and we can take on work at short notice or against a tight deadline.
